Favorite Neighborhood Winner
Congratulations to Island Home Park Neighborhood, for winning the 2008 Favorite Neighborhood Competition. The favorite neighborhood competition was voted upon by full marathon participants. Island Home is a three-time winner. Sequoyah Hills came in a close second, and Parkridge placed third. Below is a listing of the top five, as voted upon by the 2008 full marathoners.

As the winning neighborhood, the Island Home Park Neighborhood Association will be presented with a $250 donation from the Covenant Health Knoxville Marathon.
Fittest School Challenge Results!
Congratulations to Bluegrass Elementary, the winner of the inaugural Fittest School Challenge! Bluegrass had 29 students participate in the 2008 Cariten Kids' Run. Second Place went to Carter Elementary, and third was West Hills Elementary. Here's a breakdown of some of the leading schools:
