Featured Expo Speaker – Rob Jones – 3 pm on Saturday, March 30
Rob Jones was serving in Afghanistan in 2010 when he was wounded in action by a land mine. The injury resulted in a left knee dis-articulation and a right above knee amputation of his legs. He was fitted with prosthetics at Walter Reed, and then began rowing, biking, and running. In 2017, he completed his goal of running 31 marathons in 31 cities in 31 days. Click here for more information on Rob. Rob’s appearance is made possible by Prestige Cleaners, Prestige Tuxedo, and Eddie Mannis for Mayor.
If you are interested in being an exhibitor, please see the Exhibitor Information page.
All race participants must visit the Expo during scheduled hours to obtain their official race packet containing the race number bib, timing chip, race shirt, goody bag and other instructions.
The Health & Fitness Expo is the first major event of the Covenant Health Knoxville Marathon weekend.
Race Day Parking
All of the races will start on on the Clinch Ave. bridge, in front of the main entrance to the Knoxville Convention Center. NOTE: This is the same location as last year.
701 Henley St., Knoxville, TN 37901
The race start is within walking distance of our four host hotels. But, for those who will need to drive, plenty of parking is available. Some of the options are:
– Park in one of the City-owned lots (parking free on weekends)
– You may also park in one of several lots owned by the University of Tennessee.
– 11th St Parking Garage (at the corner of Clinch Ave and 11th St) – this lot is one block from the start line and one block from the finish.
– Click UTK Maps for a link to UT Parking Maps but note that parking is only available in the lots described above.
Pilot Flying J Post-Race Party
The awesome Pilot Flying J Post-Race Party will be held at World’s Fair Park, just steps from the finish line! The celebration will feature food, beverages, live music, and award ceremonies. After you finish the relay, half marathon or full marathon, join us to relax and recover at the Pilot Flying J Post-Race Party!
